like the word “no”, which is apparently the equivalent of telling her that her sweet lambie-pooh has been torn to shreds by an invading mongol army.
if you happen to run out of something yummy, like a popsicle, you have just desecrated the honor of her family heritage, both domestic and international.
and, if she can’t stay with mommy, she would rather plummet from the highest pinnacle and drown in a pool of her own tears.

kevin picked up the permit today. the only thing they have to inspect is the header to the outside door (which replaces the garage door). we (meaning kevin) waited to move forward anticipating an electrical inspection, but now we (again, meaning kevin) can move on the insulation and drywall. once the a/c is put in, i’ll probably start working out there. the painting, trim & tiling can be done in stages.
