Kevin and Simon took me out for breakfast on my big day. In the gusty winds and swirling snow, we slipped down to the Country Grove and enjoyed watching Simon bounce from sofa to sofa in his jammies.

We joined Mom, Dad, Adria & Howard at First Baptist for their “Love Through the Ages” Valentine’s Dinner. Howard played the jug in the Hee Haw Band.

Good morning! Time to go milk the cows. Oh, wait, I’m not a farmer. Then what the heck am I doing UP at this hour?!?

Master Simon had his 18 month checkup on Wednesday and, like clockwork, his schedule is off the following night. He was up at 2am. Then at 4am for good. He watched his Baby Signs video and worked on his signs for ‘book’ and ‘hat’…and his quacking sounds. He then wanted to go to the playroom, where he is with Daddy right now. I imagine he’ll crash around 6 and be down until 11 or so. Daddy will probably do the same.

At his checkup, we discovered that Sye will be a strapping young man. His weight is 30 lbs 6 oz. and his height is 34 1/4″.
