Well, it’s official, we are expecting bundle of joy #2 in early June.  I met with the geneticists today to have the 12 week U/S done and everything seems to be normal.  Little bean was moving all around and I finally heard the heartbeat.  The picture shows the profile and a little hand scratching a nose.  We’ll be getting a best guess on gender this go-round and that should be sometime in late January.

Last Thursday evening, Adria, Debbie and I went to Ladies Night Out @ Christ Wesleyan.  Family Life Network hosted a dessert concert with Da¡maris Carbaugh.  It was a much needed encounter with the divine. 

Today, Simon took his first step.  He has been standing with better balance and, while we were down in the playroom, he took one step forward before plopping down on his rear end.  He was very excited!

Later, he got his first fat lip by doing a head plant while crawling in the dining room.  His smile is a little lippy right now, but I’m sure the swelling will go down.  :)  Our brave boy!
